Policy

Terms of service

Plain terms for a $25 drawing. Buying a plan means agreeing to these.

Who you are buying from

Instant Wall is a product of AP Crown Moulding, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada.

What you are buying

One wall, one plan, CA$25, tax included. A plan is three sheets, delivered in your browser and printable from it:

A purchase covers the wall it was generated for. A second wall is a second purchase.

Adjusting your measurements

After you buy, the width of your wall can be changed by up to 10″ either way at no extra cost, and the drawing and cut list rebuild for the new size. Exactly 10″ over or under is inside the allowance.

The allowance is recorded against your purchase at the moment you buy. If this policy ever changes, your purchase keeps the allowance it was sold under — a change applies to purchases made after it, never to purchases already made.

Height, style and spacing can be changed freely; they are not part of what the purchase is measured against.

Your plan does not expire

Nothing refuses your wall link on a date. The plan you download is yours to keep, and your link keeps reopening the wall it belongs to.

Your wall, and where it lives

The wall you are working on is held in your own browser. When you start a checkout, a copy of that design is stored on our server against your purchase, so your link can reopen it later — including on a different device, and including after you clear your browser.

What is stored, and what is not, is set out in the privacy policy.

Your own use

A plan is for building the wall you bought it for — your own wall, or a wall you are building for a client. It is not licensed for resale or redistribution as a plan, and not for republication as a product of your own.

Measurements are yours to verify

The plan is drawn from the numbers you enter. Every sheet says the same thing the trade says: verify in field before cutting. Ceilings and floors are rarely level, walls are rarely square, and field verification is the installer's responsibility.

A guide, not a warranty of fit

A plan is a cutting and installation guide. It is not a guarantee that a board will fit a wall whose real dimensions differ from the ones you typed, and it is not a substitute for measuring. Material, waste, tools, fasteners and the work itself are yours.

If the generator itself produces a faulty plan, that is ours to fix, free — see the refund policy, which also states that sales are otherwise final.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. A change applies to purchases made after it and never rewrites one already made — the software is built that way, not just the policy: the terms of a purchase are stored with the purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there.
